We now have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and committed Ice Cream & Gelato Machine Technician to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role is perfect for a professional who is eager to contribute to our goal of continuing to be the market leader in the distribution of premium ice cream, gelato, frozen dessert equipment, and related products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Examining and testing PC boards, touch screens, equipment, communication bus and diagnose faults
- Repairing and replacing worn and defective boards or sensors
- Training customers of correct operating procedures to avoid any possible damage
- Monitoring machines with remote control and eventually adjust settings to comply customer need or demand
- Installing electronic expansion boards such as Wi-Fi boards, printing interface board, UI board
- Testing devices such as temperature sensors, speed sensors, photocells using professional testing tools
- Updating board software locally or remotely

**Required Skills and Attributes**:

- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV or at least 3 years of experience may substitute a formal qualification
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience;
- Ability to follow instructions and work from technical drawings or manuals
- Basic problem-solving skills for identifying and fixing issues
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail in handling small components
- Ability to work safely and follow workplace health and safety procedures

The salary for the role is $73,150+super

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
