**About the position**:
CTQS is seeking an Annex Lab Manager to join our team for a project based in the Brisbane Region. The position is Full-Time Monday - Friday for a 12-18 month contract. Pay rate is negotiable based on experience.

**Key responsibilities**
- Providing high level of customer service by liaise with customers to understand their testing needs and provide expert advice on testing methods and results
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration and proper functioning
- Lead initiatives to improve laboratory processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain cutting-edge testing capabilities.
- Conduct and oversee complex laboratory tests on construction materials such as concrete, soil and aggregates, ensuring compliance with NATA standards.
- Ensure all testing activities adhere to NATA accreditation requirements and industry standards.

**Skills/Qualifications**
- Certificate IV or high in Laboratory Techniques
- Level 1 experience is highly desirable
- Previous experience working in a NATA accredited lab is highly desirable
- Previous experience with Geotester and other relevant software is highly desirable
- Class C Drivers Licence
- Construction White Card
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- In-depth knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment and safety standards
