Are you looking for a new job opportunity?

Adventure Team is seeking new disability support worker/mentor to join our growing team in Liverpool/Glenfield, New South Wales. We are advertising for a casual support role with availability to start immediately. This would suit someone looking for additional hours from their current work or someone looking for limited hours. This would be between 3-5 hours per week initially, starting on a Sunday.

**Requirements**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain before commencing work
- Working With Children Check
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Current, non-restricted open drivers licence or non-restricted provisional licence
- Roadworthy, registered and fully comprehensive insured vehicle
- First Aid and CPR

**Key Selection Criteria**
- **Ability to hike or experience with hiking trails in and around Sydney.**:

- **Trauma informed care or a willingness to learn and complete a course.**:

- High level of interpersonal skills (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate in a professional and compassionate manner with clients from a wide range of backgrounds. **English proficiency in written and verbal is a must.**:

- Ability to work autonomously, use your own initiative and be both proactive and adaptable.
- Experience is favourable although not necessary.

- Competitive above award rate for weekdays, plus additional penalty rates for weekends and public holidays.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 4 per week

Schedule:

- Shift work
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Support Work: 1 year (preferred)
- hiking or outdoor sports: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (Proficiently) (required)
