The Digital Engineering team is responsible for the technology that is the powerhouse for Consumer and Business Banking Digital Technology.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to manage programme quality controls, automation, governance, lead and coach test teams. You will need to be proactive and an effective communicator and have excellent test management skills. You will be working in complex programme with more than 15 squads delivering various initiatives in agile.

**How will I help?**

This is a unique opportunity for a QA Lead to join our Technology Digital team.

This team uses wide range of technologies to design, architect, develop and support solutions for both internal and external customers.

The core **responsibilities **of the role are to
- Well-developed communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to enable effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels (including external and internal Suppliers). This includes proven experience building successful relationships across teams and suppliers to effectively manage critical path dependencies and escalations.
- Participate in release planning to agree on a scope of the release
- Participate in programme level discussions for rapid assessments, backlog prioritisation, planning and test management
- Update/ Create Test Strategy and Test Planning documents to align with programme release plans and delivery methodology
- Manage the testing information system repository, governance, quality controls across squads and at agile train level
- Manage business implementation outcomes
- To be accountable for testing services, this includes but not limited to deliverables of Test Lead and Testers
- Identify and plan test activities for the testing resources for the various testing deliverables for the project
- Plan, monitor, and manage the test reporting at programme level, project level and squad level
- Author test summary reports/dashboards necessary as required and reports on the progress of testing
- Provide a weekly status report for testing activities at programme level
- Accountable for test automation framework, repository and continuous improvements
- Coordinating with Application Developers, Business Analysts, Test Analysts, SMEs, 3rd party vendors
- Participate in defect triage meetings
- Responsible for System and System Integration testing, End to End testing, Regression test new releases, and supporting Production Verification Test (PVT)
- Support release planning and implementation to production
- Liaise & Coordinate with all stakeholders & Vendors
- Manage artifacts as requested.

**What do I need?**

Mandatory skills:

- Relevant qualifications in Software Engineering/Development, QA/Test Management or other appropriate field
- Minimum 4 years experience in a QA role either at Lead or Senior level
- Strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, ideally in a continuous delivery environment
- Proven track record of implementing test automation solutions
- QA/Test management experience in an Agile software development environment
- Native app mobile testing experience including automation
- Demonstrated ability to build, implement and direct quality assurance principles and maintain the quality of delivery
- Knowledge of all quality areas including performance, security, accessibility and operational acceptance
- Self-motivated, proactive, enthusiastic, and assertive

Other desirable experience includes:

- QA/Test lead/Management experience across multiple projects, offshore and in-house
- Experience working in regulated and secure environments such as financial services
