**Your Role**:

- Teach Visual Arts across Stages 4-6, including elective courses and senior HSC classes.
- Teach elective Photographic and Digital Media to Stage 5 and Stage 6 Preliminary Photography, Video and Digital Imaging.
- Deliver engaging, rigorous, and creative lessons that foster both technical skill and critical thinking in artmaking, art criticism, and art history.
- Support students in developing bodies of work, portfolios, and exhibition practices.
- Integrate a variety of media, technologies, and contemporary practices into teaching and learning.
- Actively contribute to the creative culture of the school, including exhibitions, performances, and whole-school events.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessment, and reporting in line with NESA and school requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan programs, share resources, and contribute to the growth of the Creative and Performing Arts faculty.
- Authentically integrate your Christian faith into your teaching practice through pedagogy and your interaction with students.
- Engage in pastoral care responsibilities, building strong relationships with students and contributing to the wellbeing culture of the school.
- Contribute to co-curricular and enrichment opportunities within the Visual Arts program (e.g., competitions, excursions, workshops).

- be an excellent classroom practitioner, communicator and have solid classroom management skills.
- proven successful experience teaching HSC Visual Arts courses;
- be committed to academic excellence with high expectations of students
- possess strong interpersonal skills, valuing relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- collaborate with colleagues in developing integrated learning experiences, be committed to their own professional learning and growth
- be pastorally minded and comfortable with sharing their faith
- have an understanding of the wellbeing needs of adolescents
- be willing to actively contribute to the extra-curricular life of the College
