About VCAT
VCAT is a tribunal that hears and decides civil and administrative legal cases in the State of Victoria, Australia. Established in 1998, we are the busiest tribunal in Australia. We finalise more than 85,000 cases a year - mostly disputes - at over 46 venues across Victoria. We serve the community by resolving disputes and making decisions about human rights cases, for example by appointing guardians for vulnerable Victorians.

About the Role
Your role is responsible for providing effective advice and guidance to the business on all aspects of human resources and support the implementation of HR initiatives designed to achieve VCAT's strategic objectives. Responsibilities include delivering customer support and authoritative advice on HR policy and practices and offer solutions aligned with organisational priorities to Members, managers and staff.
About you
- You have experience in hands-on HR generalist role that includes both operationally and strategic work, across a range of HR disciplines, providing advice and resolving HR issues (eg: workplace relations, workforce planning, recruitment, OH&S, injury management and performance management).
- Ideally, you have a degree in Human Resource with knowledge working with Public Sector or equivalent policies, agreements and frameworks.
