Are you an experienced and motivated hospitality professional ready to take the lead in a bustling café and restaurant environment? **Viewpoint Café and Restaurant** is on the lookout for a skilled **Café/Restaurant Manager** to oversee day-to-day operations, elevate customer service standards, and contribute to our continued success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with chefs to create and refine diverse menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff, including recruitment, onboarding, training, rostering, and performance management.
- Organise and manage special events, group bookings, and catering services, ensuring flawless execution and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage inventory, place supplier orders, and control food and beverage costs to align with budget forecasts.
- Maintain up-to-date records of daily transactions, supplier invoices, staff timesheets, and stock levels.
- Ensure the restaurant and kitchen comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations, and maintain an inviting, clean, and well-presented space.
- Greet customers, take reservations, assist with order-taking during peak hours, and handle customer feedback or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct regular quality checks on food presentation and service delivery to uphold brand standards.
- Liaise with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and evaluate product quality and consistency.
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns in collaboration with ownership to drive customer engagement and revenue growth.
- Analyse sales trends and staff performance reports to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Minimum **3 years of proven experience** in a managerial role within the hospitality sector (café or restaurant setting preferred).
- Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, financial management, and team leadership.
- A hands-on approach with excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine passion for customer service and hospitality excellence.

Salary $70,000 to $80,000
