Collar Group are seeking a QA/Compliance Coordinator for our Engineering client based in South Australia with the availability to travel to their Roxby Downs operations.

Our client is a privately-owned business located in South Australia. They provide, Fabrication, Fitting / Machining and Project Execution / Management services to the mining and construction industries.

**Duties**:

- Oversee and drive compliance and improvements to the business’s ISO accreditations in Safety, Quality and Environment
- Build, mentor and coach all Health & Safety personnel to help build the Health & Safety Capability within SAE
- Monitoring, auditing, and updating the integrated management system.
- Support the Project Manager in developing, implementing, maintaining, monitoring and reviewing the Project Management quality and safety framework
- Verify that quality-related site & fabrication activities are in accordance with the applicable specifications, codes and standards.
- Preparation of QA/QC documentation plus control and supervision of all amendments and revisions.
- Control and the distribution of all the QA/QC documentation.
- Support the implementation of the QA/QC management system at project site
- Interface with Project Manager and input into the Completions & commissioning of all projects
- Perform internal and external audits on behalf of the business
- Drive to completion of issued non-conformance reports
- Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system.
- Attend any specific or ad-hoc client quality management meetings.
- Coordinate with the Project and workshop teams on all quality issues.
- Monitor and report on the Project Quality KPIs and other as required.
- Recommend and/or implement improvements when required

**About you**:

- 5 years’ experience in QA/QC coordination and inspection in the Resources Industry
- C Class Driver’s Licence
- Appropriate trade, specialist, degree and/or industrial quality control qualifications
- Certificate 3 in health, safety and environment.
- Ability to solve problems with many variables and unique situations
- Proven conceptual, research, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experienced in report writing for internal cascade and management level
- A pro-active attitude
