**About the role**:
Your role will include, but is not limited to:

- Lodging, managing and administering WorkCover claims for the business
- Attending appointments where required and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Providing support and assistance to injured workers and supervisors by identifying/addressing any special requirements or potential Return-to-Work barriers
- Coordinating with WHSEQ advisors regarding incident reports and ensuring they are completed in a timely manner
- Meeting and supporting injured workers & supervisors to ensure work duties are under Certified Medical Work Capacity
- Attending medical appointments with workers to supervise ongoing investigations and monitor work capacity whilst recovering
- Keeping relevant stakeholders updated with progress/changes in work capacity and/or suitable duties
- Participate in Return-to-Work planning by assisting claims agents in preparing and implementing Recovery/ Return-to-Work plans
- Diary management for the R&C Team Managers
- Managing pre-employment and other medical assessments
- Perform other ad hoc duties as and when required

**About you**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A current driver’s licence
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software easily
- Previous experience in administrative tasks, reception or a similar role
- Face-to-face customer service experience
- Good time management skills and be able to work under pressure
- The ability to work independently

Desirable:

- Understanding of the _Return to Work Act _2014
- Injury Management experience
- Previous experience in Return-to-Work Coordinator/injury management role
- Return to work coordinator qualifications
