**The Opportunity**:
Urbis has an opportunity for a Power BI Specialist to join our expanding Technology & Digital team in Melbourne
At Urbis, our clients value a strong evidence-based approach. In this role you will play a key part in shaping cities and communities for a better future by helping build and manage data solutions that provide valuable data insights for our internal and external customers.
As a Power BI Specialist you'll transform raw data into meaningful insights through interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports.
Your role will involve crafting and implementing user-centric dashboards for both internal and external interfaces, tailored to specific user requirements. Beyond this, you will use your strong communication skills to foster and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.

**You will**:

- Creating, maintaining, and enhancing Power BI dashboards and reports that accurately represent complicated data sets.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to comprehend their needs for data visualisation and convert them into useful Power BI solutions.
- Assure the accuracy, dependability, and functionality of Power BI dashboards, and optimize data models for maximum effectiveness.
- Continuously improve dashboard functionalities, stay current on Power BI improvements and incorporate new features and capabilities.
- Provide business stakeholders with training and support to ensure widespread acceptance and efficient use of Power BI dashboards.
- Support & maintain PowerBI workspaces and published dashboard

**About you**:

- Have at least 3 years of experience in a Power BI reporting role with high proficiency manipulating data in the MS Azure cloud platform.
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field
- Advanced working knowledge and experience with several query languages, including Power BI, SQL, and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
- Demonstrated expertise in creating dashboards and reports with Microsoft Power BI.
