Undergraduate Assistant in Nursing

We are looking for a nursing student or an Assistant in Nursing to care for a physically disabled young woman in her Randwick home. The successful applicant will join a small team that provides 24-hour care to the client, who suffers from chronic pain and lack of mobility. The role focuses on a mixture of personal care, pain management, and administrative work.
**Duties will include**:
- Personal care (bathing, dressing, continence-management)
- Medication monitoring and administration
- Household chores (cleaning, laundry, cooking)
**Requirements**:
- Experienced/trained in assisting with personal hygiene;
- Mid-level administrative skills and familiarity with MS Office;
- Attention to detail, esp. in maintaining household hygiene and food safety
- Current police check (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS screen completed (or willing to obtain)
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination - including booster (3 doses)
**Hours of work**:
- 7 - 8 -hour shifts 7am-2pm, 2pm-9pm or 9.00 pm to 7am (sleepover Shift)
**Benefits**:
- We offer wages of ＄38-＄50, much higher than the industry standard.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
**Salary**: $38.00 - $50.00 per hour
