**Your Experience**
You will bring a person-centred approach, placing the person at the centre of their service. You will work collaboratively, tailoring your approach to the needs of the individual. You will quickly establish rapport with clients and their families and have clear and effective communication skills. You will have excellent attention to detail and accuracy in case notes and record-keeping. You will be comfortable supporting adult clients with intellectual/physical disabilities, high medical needs, mental health diagnosed or high behavioural concerns.
**Special requirements**
This role requires a female Support Worker who can assist our Client both in her home and out in the community. Depending on the day, she may require support with In-home duties, being taken to appointments or exploring one of her many interests. Our Client loves watching all sports, getting out to the local cafes to enjoy a coffee, visiting the beach or seeing the latest movies on the big screen. She takes a genuine interest in her support workers and enjoys getting to know them and building a rapport. She enjoys when her support workers can keep the atmosphere light and are willing to have a joke. No assistance with personal care is required. Experience in Trauma and Mental Health support is highly desirable.
**Your Availability**
Current shifts available for our client are as follows:
- Mon-Sat (excluding Thursday): 0800 - 1000
- Tues, Wed & Fri: 1700 - 1900
- Sunday 0800 - 1400

**Recruitment Process**
- Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a phone interview and then, if successful, to a face to face interview.
**Role Requirements**
- A minimum Certificate III in Disability or equivalent
- Current NDIS Worker Screening
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- First Aid and CPR
- Manual Handling certificate
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
- Medication Administration Certificate, Basic Continence Care and Infection Control/ Basic Health Support Certificate will be highly preferred and if not, willingness to obtain these will be required.
- A full Australian Driver’s Licence
- Ability and willingness to drive and use pool vehicle or own vehicle
- Experience in Mental Health or Trauma related support
