**about you**:
You’re a quick learner who can easily learn new skills and knowledge. People have described you as having a strong attention to detail and being able to focus on the task at hand. Experience in underwriting or broking has allowed you to develop knowledge of commercial property/ business package policies.

In this role, to be successful, you will need to work effectively as part of a team and be able to collaborate with others towards achieving common goals. You will be able to communicate clearly and contribute positively to team discussions. Also, you are self-motivated, work independently when needed, and take ownership of your work.

**the role**:
The role requires you to develop and maintain relationships with brokerage businesses. This involves keeping in touch with them regularly, responding to their queries promptly, and actively seeking opportunities for new business and renewals.

Also, it is essential to have a good general understanding of the market and your client’s needs so that you can pursue opportunities. You will be able to work closely with the national team to ensure that your approach and activities align with the business’s overall goals.

Finally, it is important to be able to resolve any general queries or issues that arise. Your approach reflects the values of the business. Working collaboratively with your colleagues and partners, you will contribute to building a successful and sustainable brokerage business.
