Role: Project Finance Analyst

Company: Global Energy Management organization

Contract: Day rate contract (Temp to Perm)

Duration: Initially 3-6 months Temporary, then permanent employment

**Salary**: $550 Per day

Location: Macquarie Park, NSW

Hybrid working: 2/3 days a week on site in Macquarie Park head office

Company Mission:

- Responsible for accurate, timely reporting of Financial and non-financial KPIs of the Execution Center, in strong collaboration with other business finance functions.
- Ensure essential support services for project management functions to deliver customer projects.
- Work closely with other Controllers & Project Managers to establish a strong monitoring framework, in particular project P&L, Gross Margin evolution, Cash flows.
- Communicate timely & advise Management and business stakeholders on key issues and priorities (risks & opportunities) to achieve targets.

Role Responsibilities:

- Work closely with Execution team, focusing on Revenue recognition, Margin, Billing & Cash, Tax, statutory requirements to improve project financial performance.
- Provide financial performance of project/portfolio: margin slippage and cash performance (I-R) (C-R) to the Execution team.
- Participate in risk escalation for the project/portfolio; ensure governance in place.
- Implement all projects controlling relevant rules, methods, processes, and tools in accordance with Global Project Controlling requirements.
- Assist in the development of financial plans and forecasts and monitor and manage project expenditure, ensuring that all financial targets are met.
- Participate in Project Reviews and monitor their financial performance, track, and manage changes to the project scope and cost baseline and participates in preparing monthly cost forecast.
- Support Tendering team and challenge the financial aspects for new opportunities (costing, margin, risk provision, milestone billing, Forex).
- Lead process improvement and cost saving initiates to protect and increase the Group’s profitability.
- Someone that is hungry, ambitious and not afraid of learning & taking on new responsibility
- Currently studying CPA or CA with desires of becoming fully chartered
- 2/3 years’ experience in a finance & accounting environment
