With more than 30 years of experience in free-from manufacturing, partnering with leading food retailers across manufacturing and health food innovation.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced, proactive, dynamic **General Manager of Operations **to join their leadership team.

**About the Role**

In this role, you will oversee the Production, Warehouse, Engineering/Maintenance, Planning, Quality & Product Development functions, which include a team of 4 direct and approximately 55 indirect reports.

You will also manage the organisation's overall operational objectives, enhance existing operational standards, and provide strategic advice to enable informed commercial and operational decisions.

This role requires someone who is highly strategic but also very hands-on in their approach. Interaction with senior leadership and management teams will be essential to ensuring that the right practices and processes are implemented in an appropriate, cost-effective way across the organisation.

**Duties and **Responsibilities**
- Oversee day-to-day operations;
- Design strategy and set goals for growth;
- Maintain budgets and optimise expenses;
- Enhance and implement policies and processes,
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally;
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.

**Skill's & Experience**
- Prior experience working within a similar role within food manufacturing;
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to demonstrate a people-centric approach;
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and teams;
- Exceptional communication and negotiations skills;
- Innovative with a continuous improvement mindset;
- Ability to analyse and interpret data.
