Supply and Distribution Manager

Join our team as a Warehouse/Distribution Manager, where you will be pivotal in overseeing our warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of inventory and distribution management. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will lead our warehouse team, optimize processes, and ensure the safety and accuracy of stock handling.

**Responsibilities**:

- Strategically manage warehouse operations in compliance with company’s policies and procedures.
- Oversee and be physically involved in receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations on a daily basis.
- Ensure efficient space utilisation, adapting as needed based on inventory levels and operational requirements.
- Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
- Manage stock control and reconcile with WMS.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
- Plan work, assign tasks appropriately, and appraise results.
- Recruit, induct, coach, and motivate employees.
- Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.).
- Ensure health and safety regulations are met and maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven work experience as a Warehouse/Distribution Manager or similar role.
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
- Forklift license and experience in driving narrow aisle forklift (Aisle master or similar)
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.

Pay: $73,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
