I am currently representing a household name that has been within the Australia market for over 10 years and that has seen year on year growth since their creation. My client is a leader within the tourism space and has a strong focus on customer service. This organisation stay ahead of the competition through huge investment in technology to create innovative solutions to ensure the business continues to adapt and grow to meet customer demands.
Due to growth, the position of Accounts Officer has become available in a part-time capacity to support this project based team on a two year contact. On a day to day basis you will oversea the Accounts Payable function while also providing additional accounting support to the Financial Controller. Key responsibilities include:
- Processing of invoices for payment including working with contract managers to ensure accurate and timely coding of invoices
- Assist with the processing of invoices for payment (monthly)
- Assist with the processing and coding of monthly corporate credit card claims
- Data management and retention
- Assist with information requests from Contract and/ or Project Managers as required
- Preparation of general ledger reconciliation including (but not limited to) bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations
This position is well suited to an experienced accounts officer that enjoys a high level of variety and being part of the close-knit team. You will be outcomes focused and pride yourself on your strong attention to detail and high-level accuracy. You will thrive working within a supportive, autonomous and deadline driven environment.
