Temp to Perm Role

$30-$35 per hour depending on experience

Monday through Friday 9:00am - 17:00pm
- Our client is not-for-profit arts organisation that oversees a unique collection of creative businesses, from performance facilities to theatre companies, corporate entertainment producers to training providers and more. _
- Each company in their portfolio delivers to a distinct corner of the entertainment industry. They pride themselves on being a creative, hardworking, problem solving and a passionate team. They are seeking a hard working, enthusiastic and self-motivated bookkeeper to join the team They have a strong team culture and put a lot into their staff. This is a temp-to-perm role. Willing to go perm for the right employee._

**Roles**:

- Ensure all timesheets are submitted timely for weekly payroll
- Process weekly payroll, including payslips in MYOB
- Report to Financial Accountant for payroll, superannuation and PAYG periodically
- Bank reconciliation and data entry as required for multiple entities
- Business Activity Statements (BAS) & Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
- Accounts Payable—entry of supplier invoices, preparation of payment reports

**Skills**:

- 2+ years in a comparable role within an accounting or bookkeeping practice
- Proficiency in MYOB is essential
- Ability to prioritise, organise and complete work within established deadlines
- Highly organized and ability to multitask with a great attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
