Coulson Aviation Australia is a subsidiary of global aerial firefighting company, Coulson Aviation, and supports Australian States and Emergency Service Organizations with the provision of aircraft and experienced team members. Coulson Aviation operates across the world with a fleet of large aerial firefighting assets consisting of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. With our fleet of Boeing 737 FIRELINERS, Hercules C130, Citation and King Air fire support platforms, CH47D Chinooks, UH60 Blackhawks and Bell 412 helicopters, we provide rapid response capabilities using aviation assets.

Coulson Aviation Australia operate and manage New South Wales Rural Fire Service-owned aircraft in all aspects of maintenance, fleet support systems and management, and operating personnel. Our teams perform aerial firefighting missions, transport flights, intelligence and scanning missions, disaster mitigation, search and rescue operations, and related activities.

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:
We are currently recruiting a **Purchaser**to be a part of the team. This position will support Richmond and Bankstown, NSW operations by executing purchases both locally and internationally, as required.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:

- Source and purchase the highest quality products, while ensuring timely availability and cost effectiveness.
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers by keeping them informed of Coulson Aviation Australia’s needs and expectations and promptly addressing any issues that arise.
- Follow up with vendors, suppliers, transportation service providers and/or customs brokers to ensure all shipments are being expedited as expected.
- Inspect purchased products upon delivery to ensure the correct item was received, in proper order and report any issues.
- Continuously seek to improve procurement processes and inventory flow.
- Other duties as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 2 years minimum experience as Purchaser or Buyer
- Aviation experience preferred
- Communicates effectively
- Exercises good judgment and makes effective, sound, timely and informed decisions
- Currently hold or ability to obtain Red ASIC card and/or RAAF passes
