**The Role**:
The role is based in the Office of the Registrar-General and is primarily responsible for preparing key reconciliations linked to the collection of revenue under the Real Property Act 1886 and associated statutes, whilst monitoring compliance with revenue collection procedures and follow up of issues identified. Furthermore, the role requires a general understanding of the impacts of the Land Services Agreement on the transactional flows of Land Titling fees. The role is also responsible for the preparation of manual journals, assistance with the preparation of financial and other reports and contributing to the analysis of expenditure variations and hence should understand the concept of accrual accounting.

**About You**:
To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate experience across the following key capabilities:

- Sound knowledge of Government financial systems and processes.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong numerical reasoning skills.
- Highly developed Office 365 skills but specifically proficient in the use of Excel functions.
- Ability to work autonomously, use sound judgement and initiative, and set priorities to achieve business objectives.

**Desirable Qualification**:

- Relevant degree qualification/s (or studying towards final completion) in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce, Economics or another relevant field (Desirable).

**Special Conditions**

Successful applicants may be required to obtain a satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check prior to employment. A renewal will be required every 3 years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO3 - $67,589-$72,033
