About the Role
- This role reports to the Director of General Medicine.
- This position fulfils accountabilities and responsibilities in accordance with Metro South's purpose and objectives.
- There are no direct responsibilities for budget beyond those delegated to general medicine consultants by the Director of the unit.
- Specific duties may involve ward rounds, outpatient services (including Telehealth and outreach services, if appropriate), multidisciplinary team meetings and collaboration with other medical teams or other professional streams.
- Actively participate in Hospital's Integrated Risk Management and Safety Program, including participation in Incident Monitoring System and Root Cause Analysis where appropriate.
