We are looking for qualified Swim Instructors who wish to commit to a boutique, family-owned, Swim school that specialises in Learn to Swim. We operate 7 days a week and are looking for teachers to complement our existing staff. Our centre provides morning and afternoon sessions during the week and morning sessions on the weekends.

Teaching Kids to Swim for Life - it's what we are all about. Established at North Wyong on the northern end of the Central Coast of NSW we have been teaching from the same location for over 15 years and are now teaching the children of previous students. We are a boutique family run pool that teaches children, from 6 months to 18 years, to swim.

**Key activities of this role include**:

- Deliver our swim programs to enable participants to achieve their personal development goals and improve swim skills:

- Deliver swim programs as per North Wyong Aqua Centre Learn to Swim Program guidelines and lesson plans as directed;
- Continually review and keep track of participants' progress;
- Ensure the participant safety at all times through provision of safe activities and continual surveillance of swim class members;
- Prepare lessons and equipment as instructed.

**Essential requirements include**:

- Current AUSTSWIM qualification in teaching of swimming and water safety or Swim Australia Teacher (SAT) or Swim Coaching qualifications or equivalent;
- Provide Resuscitation Certificate (HLTAID 001 / HLTAID 009);
- Working with Children Check Clearance Number or Application Number as per Child Protection (Working with Children) Regulation 2013 (if over 18) or willingness to obtain prior to any offer of employment;
- Demonstrated experience in delivering high quality swim programs of various levels or demonstrated previous experience in coaching swimming;
- Demonstrated ability to embrace change and commitment to work
