**About the Position**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our Community Day Clubs team until 30 June 2025 on a part time basis working 3 days per week. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and delivery of engaging activities for seniors, provide transport as required, and perform general duties associated with community-based care for the customers attending the City of Stirling Community Day Clubs.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Participate in a team environment providing a range of engaging activities for seniors.
- Contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of innovative and interesting programs for customers.
- Assist with the safety, comfort, and personal care needs of the customers.
- Provide transport for customers to access the Community Day Clubs and other community activities.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect customers' privacy and dignity at all times.
- Deliver a consistent high standard of service in accordance with the organisation’s policies and procedures and the customer’s care plan.
- Assist in the cleaning of the club/s and vehicles, and ensure safe storage of equipment.

**About You**
- S Certificate III in Aged Care / Disability or equivalent (desirable).
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate (essential).
- Current C Class Drivers License (essential).
- Ability to assist in the delivery of group activity sessions for customers, catering for a variety of ability levels and interests.
- Ability to adapt to changes in work demands and rosters when necessary and collaborate as part of a wider team.
- Experience working in aged care and disabilities from culturally diverse backgrounds (essential).

This temporary position part-time position will be 3 days per week, and is a Level 3 Inside Workforce Agreement position, which attracts a salary from $66,201 to $69,668 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.
