**Financial Management Consultant**

Proximity has over 100 advisors, lawyers, project managers and commercial experts. Our Procurement & Contracts practice is rapidly growing and are looking for Procurement & Contract specialists and officers to join our team, based in Canberra.

We are seeking CPA qualified finance professional with extensive expertise in managing strategic and financial operations for government projects or agencies. The Procurement & Contract team deliver on-site services to our Commonwealth clients. We assist our clients to solve real problems and strive to make a difference.

**Use your Expertise & Skills**
- Support government client projects with financial management including project budget preparation, actual profit & loss reporting and analysis, and commitment reports
- Provide project finance advice and support, being first point of contact for a variety of stakeholders
- Process project monthly and year-end closing, including account reconciliations, accruals and adjustment journals
- Assist in providing project trend analysis, key implications, actions

**You will have**:

- CPA Australia
- Member of Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD
- Accounting and ERP systems
- Due to the nature of the work you must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain an AGSVA security clearance
