**Summary**:
Aristocrat is a leader in the global gaming industry and are looking for an experienced Animator to join their team working on site, out of HRG Studios in Brookvale. HRG Studios is responsible for some of the most globally successful products in the gaming industry. We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual who can produce world-class animation content which is on-brief and on-time; work collaboratively within a team environment and under direction to achieve outcomes and to support the delivery of games at the highest quality.

**What You'll Do**:

- Work collaboratively with artists, animators and game designers to create and produce world class game animation, that is on brief and on time; attention to detail is paramount.
- 2D and 3D animation is required as well as rigging for models to be animated.
- Deliver error free assets on time to a level of functional and aesthetic quality appropriate to the game requirements.
- Identify, assess and mitigate technical risk, as well as quickly and accurately resolve unexpected issues that can occur during the development process.
- Maintain excellent file organization and follow established processes for asset creation and management, output configuration, IP and reference material etc.
- Ability to build 3D models is highly regarded.
- Keep up to date on the latest developments within the gaming industry.

**What We're Looking For**:
**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Animation or related is desirable, an up-to date showreel is essential.
- 2 +years development experience in a professional creative production environment.

**Computer Literacy**
- Experience with Substance Painter is highly regarded.
- Strong PC/Mac skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

**Communication Skills**
- Able to communicate effectively both in written and verbal forms.
- Able to communicate effectively with Game Design, Art & Software, from the time of design, through implementation, iterations, right through to the final product.
- Confident to share new ideas and comfortable influencing key stakeholders.

**General**:

- Excellent understanding of animation production techniques and pipelines. (real-time & pre-rendered)
- High level of competency in creating and delivering content using key software to a range of end-platforms i.e., custom propriety platforms, web and mobile devices.
- Display initiative to drive projects and present new ideas.
- High attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a range of functional teams within the organization.
- Ability to handle competing priorities to meet tight deadlines.
- Actively seek feedback and review of work; accept and act upon creative/technical direction.
- Ability to work within a team as well as unsupervised.
- Able to provide a positive, motivating example for peers.
- Identification, communication and adoption of industry best practices and championing their use within our development environment.
