**About our client**:
Our client is a well-established freight forwarding company based in Melbourne. They are leaders in moving various cargo and pride themselves on quality service.

**Key responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of import sea freight operations and customer service.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Registering import sea documentation
- Reporting shipments to Australian Customs (SCA)
- Acquiring relevant documentation for shipping purposes
- Tracking all shipments, including transhipments
- Liaising with international agents, suppliers and consignee’s
- Invoicing
- Other duties as required by the Operations Manager

**Skills and experience**:

- Import sea freight operations experience
- High level communication skills - verbal and written
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Experience in processing and completing client invoices
- CargoWise knowledge and experience
