Set within beautiful grounds in the seaside suburb of Hove, Alwyndor delivers on-site residential living and support at home services, along with therapy and wellbeing services that empower the people in our communities to live healthy, engaged and fulfilled lives.

Alwyndor’s welcoming, high quality facilities include 144 residential, dementia, respite care beds, transitional and care awaiting placement beds, together with allied health, therapy and wellness programs and home support packages that support people in Adelaide’s southern metro communities.

The Elected Members of the City of Holdfast Bay are the Trustees of the Trust which established Alwyndor.

**About the Opportunity**

The AMC has an important role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our ageing communities and provides integrated Aged Care Services to the communities of Holdfast Bay and the broader southern metropolitan communities, its services include:

- Residential Care
- Support at Home
- Therapy and Wellness
- Day respite

Alwyndor’s vision is to support older adults to live active and healthy lives, enabling a vibrant, healthy and inclusive community where people are supported in maintaining a fulfilling lifestyle.

Advising the City of Holdfast Bay, Alwyndor Management Committee (AMC) is established to provide effective governance and oversight of the strategy and operations of Alwyndor.

Alwyndor is seeking expressions of interest from people with relevant skills and experience to join the Management Committee.

We are particularly keen to add further capability to the AMC in the area of Aged Care service delivery.

Applicants are required to be Graduates of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Appointments to the AMC are for an initial 3-year term and members receive an honorarium payment per session. Committee meetings are held a minimum of 8 times each year with out of session requirements from time to time. National police clearances are mandatory, and members are encouraged to be vaccinated for both influenza and COVID-19.
