- Executive Coordinator to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor & Vice-President (Research & Innovation)Full-time, Fixed Term position 12 months- Salary Level HEW 7 + 17% Superannuation- Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working
- About the role
- As the Executive Coordinator, you will provide high quality, flexible administrative support to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) Research & Innovation. The role has responsibility for all tasks that support the DVC’s day-to-day operations of the Research & Innovation Portfolio. The position requires regular liaison with senior management of the University and is the first point of telephone contact for people wishing to communicate with the Deputy Vice
- Chancellor. It also requires interactions with external agencies, government officials and staff in other educational institutions, as well as broadly across the University.

To be successful in this position, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in the provision of high-level executive services, administrative support to a senior executive or equivalent in a university environment or similar large and complex organisation with the ability to act with diplomacy, discretion and tact.- Experience or demonstrated ability to coordinate executive support and governance activities at an executive level- Demonstrated strong, high-level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work flexibly and efficiently as a member of a team providing quality service to a wide range of clients internally and externally, in a customer focussed environment.- Proven initiative and problem-solving skills, ability to resolve and/or escalate complex issues and take action without specific direction where appropriate.-
- Demonstrated experience or knowledge of financial management is highly desirable- A knowledge and understanding of the tertiary education sector is highly desirable
