An exciting career opportunity to join the RBA to work on a significant IT program- 2 year Fixed Term Contract- Location: Base location Bella Vista with requirement to also work in Sydney CBD

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Category Lead to deliver Information Technology procurement activities, throughout the procurement lifecycle for a fast paced critical program.

Job Requirements- Lead procurement activities for a major IT refresh program in line with internal policies and industry best practices.- Actively collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and support their procurement needs.- Manage strategic supplier relationships in partnership with the business.- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry frameworks for all policies, procedures, tools, and systems.- Conduct analysis and reporting on procurement activities and key performance indicators.- Support procurement, contract management, category planning and governance activities.

About you-
- 7 years + experience in IT Procurement- Experience in managing strategic suppliers, including handling issues such as complex and time critical new procurements, audits, disputes, and renegotiations.- Proven ability to manage complex relationships with business stakeholders to influence outcomes.- Experience in refining and improving procurement policies, templates, and tools based on business feedback.- Strong background in building and implementing category strategies.- Advanced experience in contract management and providing commercial advice and understanding business strategies and procurement needs.- Demonstrated experience in leading procurements and strategic sourcing activities, including leading cross-functional teams.- Strong communication (written and verbal) and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.- Relevant degree qualifications are desirable.- Procurement certification (e.g., CIPS) is preferred.
