**The Role**

The role’s purpose is to support the SBS business through the flawless execution and accurate resolution of specialised Level 2 IT support tasks and Broadcast equipment and services.

Liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth day to day operations of the SBS Canberra Bureau, E.G. Infrastructure, Broadcast operations, Enterprise Systems
- Provide timely and efficient resolution for supported technology equipment (such as but not limited to desktops, laptops, tablets, iPads, printers, peripherals, Apple Macs, Surface Devices, Adobe Suite, Edit Machines) as required.
- Deployment and/or configuration of new and replacement technology equipment
- Software packaging, deployment and maintenance of software and systems as required
- Ability to assess need for system reconfiguration (minor or significant)
- Decommission technology equipment in alignment with Asset management best practices
- Work with Technology Support Manager, Group to ensure appropriate processes, procedures and policies are in place, and followed; and the need for change is identified and addressed.
- Engagement with Major Incident Manager '“ including Incident, Change and Problem management processes as required
- Reasonable on-call Incident Management participation as required
- Project tasks as required
- Ensure technology equipment adheres to security best practice standards
- Design, package, deploy and maintain MS and MAC SOE
- Maintain and use the Helpdesk database effectively. Create and update system and process documentation for SBS office information systems as required.
- Adhere to SBS I.T. Processes, Service Level Agreements, policies, guidelines and protocols as directed.
- Work with 3rd party vendors and internal support teams to support the SBS Computer environment
- Ability to perform tasks under instruction from other departments E.G Infrastructure.

**About you**

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a passion for customer service, someone who is a great team player and is motivated by resolving problems, You’ll be someone who is keen to grow both professionally and personally within the organisation.

The team isn’t big so you’ll need to have great time management skills and juggle multiple priorities. You will be able to engage with people across all level in the organisation who will all want their issues fixed first This is not an entry-level role and requires some level of previous technical experience, so you’ll need to come with demonstrated experience in:

- Windows 10 and Apple Mac OS experience, with the ability to support these operating systems with a variety of issues
- Previous experience in a Technology support team environment.
- Experience with IT Service Management processes and methodologies including ITIL
- ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate, desirable however not essential
- Broadcast experience is extremely desirable.
- An understanding of IT Networks and Infrastructure desirable
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment. The majority of your team and your manager are based in Sydney.
- Availability to occasionally travel to Sydney for training or other requirements
- Willing to spend the first 4 '“ 6 weeks located at the Sydney office for initial training.
