**ABOUT THE ROLE**
**Origin’s Integrated Gas business is seeking an Economics Lead to head the Integrated Gas Economics team ensuring that Integrated Gas makes well informed investment decisions that are aligned with achieving our strategic targets. This includes operated and non-operated development, commercial, exploration and investment /divestment opportunities.**
**You will work collaboratively with asset teams, asset services and the Supply & Technology team to ensure the success of the whole of Integrated Gas.**

- Lead economic reporting and analysis supporting:
- the valuation and delivery of Origin Strategic initiatives
- Upstream Development Planning
- Probabilistic resource assessment & Reserves analysis
- Impairment testing activities
- Investment / Divestment decision analysis
- Establish, oversee evaluation, and maintain (where required) complex projects and economic models
- Support Operated Asset, Non-Operated, Asset Services, and Growth business economic assessments and indicators
- Economic Discipline authority including assurance responsibilities across all core processes
- Directly oversee a multi-disciplinary team, providing coaching, support and development guidance

You are adaptable, proactive, and energetic with the ability and drive to implement change. You are a great communicator with the ability to translate economic information to all levels of the organisation, building capability along the way.**
**More about you**
- 10 years’ experience in upstream oil and gas or resource industry economic valuation
- A deep understanding of macroeconomic drivers of resources industries in Australia and globally
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in an industry setting
- Strong track record of making complex economic decisions
- Formal tertiary qualification in finance / economics / engineering
