MAF OCEANIA PTY LTD, based in Bacchus Marsh (Victoria), is seeking a **Production Manager (Electronic)** to lead our electronic production and testing workshop.
In this full-time position, you will oversee manufacturing operations for electronic systems, ensuring that assembly, calibration, and quality assurance procedures are implemented effectively. You will play a key role in achieving high productivity, consistent quality, and on-time delivery of MAF RODA’s advanced automation systems.
**What you’ll be doing**
- Oversee and coordinate manufacturing operations for electronic systems, ensuring assembly, testing, and quality assurance procedures are implemented effectively. Plan production schedules, allocate labour and materials, and ensure that all production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are met.
- Define, implement, and optimise production processes to achieve high productivity, consistent quality, and on-time delivery of electronic assemblies.
- Oversee calibration procedures to ensure measurement precision and product conformity with MAF RODA’s global specifications.
- Control workshop operations, monitor production output and efficiency, and ensure strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, analysing performance data to reduce costs, downtime, and waste.
- Coordinate with Automation and Mechanical teams to ensure smooth transition from manufacturing to commissioning.
- Supervise software configuration and validation of MAF RODA platforms such as GLOBLASCAN 7, VIOTEC 7, ORPHEA, IDD8, and AI SMART TUNING during production testing.
- Guarantee proper data communication and traceability between all electronic modules and ensure documentation is complete and aligned with MAF France standards.
- Communicate fluently in French with MAF RODA’s head office and subsidiaries to report progress, share updates, and coordinate technical matters.
- Promote technological innovation, supporting the introduction of new developments and improvements in electronic production methods.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations in line with Australian standards and MAF Group policies.
**What we’re looking for**
- A bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in a relevant field, **or at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the industry**:
- Proven leadership in production management or electronic manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of MAF RODA electronic and software technologies or similar industrial automation systems.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in technical documentation, process optimisation, and team coordination.
- **Fluent French (spoken and written)** - mandatory for communication with MAF RODA international teams.
- Knowledge of industrial electronics, sensors, and computerised control systems.
- Commitment to quality, precision, and continuous improvement.
- Availability for occasional travel within Australia and overseas for coordination or training.
