About the role
The primary purpose of the Research Assistant Emergency Department (Identified) is to engage community and clinicians and gather high quality clinical research data including interviews and/or 'research yarns' with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers for the Deadly STEPS research project. Further objectives include the maintenance of optimum health care to research participants in accordance with the national Health Medical and Research Council (NHMRC), Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (GCP) and the International Committee of Harmonisation (ICH). The incumbent will contribute to the research team lead by a nominated Principal Investigator and supported by the Deadly STEPS research co-ordinator and will develop research expertise through the pursuit of the Deadly STEPs home project.
