**YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**

**This role is a hybrid position working as a Fitter Operator.**

As a Fitter Machine operator you would typically be working on the palletiser (Berchi Palletiser) that automatically stacks newly made plastic bottles onto the pallets. The operator is there to make sure it doesn't stop for fallen bottles, fine tuning adjustments and placing the labels.

As a fitter you would be expected to work on the 2-Stage Blow Moulders (Sidel and Krones machines) performing routine maintenance, breakdown maintenance and job changes. Furthermore, you may also be dispatched to other areas of the site to assist troubleshooting Injection Moulding Machines (Husky), Singe Stage Blow Moulding Machines (Aoki and Nissei) and Extrusion Blow Moulding machines (Uniloy, Rochelau and FongKee)

**ROSTER AND CONDITIONS**

You will be paid Fortnightly with plenty of overtime available. You can pick up extra shifts during the period you are not rostered on if you wish to or you can use this time to take holidays with family and not use much annual leave.

All OT gets transferred into Excess Hours balance. This acts like a holding account that can be cashed in throughout the year at x1.6, so for an additional 12 hour shift the excess hours balance will increase by 12 hours, which can then be cashed in as either 19.2 hours additional pay or 19.2 hours of Annual Leave.

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**
- At least 4 years' experience in a Maintenance fitting role, preferably related to manufacturing
- Trade Qualification: Mechanical Fitter, Toolmaker or Mechanic
- Experience in an FMCG or Manufacturing facility
- Exceptional diagnostic and fault-finding experience
- Machine Operating Experience
- Attend and complete all training as required.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
- D- Class Electrical Licence (Desirable)
- Forklift Licence (Desirable)
