**My Healthcare Solutions Team** (part of My People Solutions Recruitment) is a leading Nursing & Healthcare Recruitment Agency providing high quality healthcare staffing solutions to clients in Aged Care Facilities, Facilities, Clinics & Private Homes.

We are currently seeking **Disability Support Workers who have experience of working with NDIS Participants with high intensity support needs **who are committed to delivering quality care for their clients and who are available to work with a number of our clients in the Southeast Melbourne area.

**Our clients have various shifts, morning, daytime, afternoon, evening & weekends with the most sought after shifts to be filled being before and after school times on weekdays.**

We are urgently seeking Disability Support Workers who have skills, experience and appropriate certifications in PEG feeding, manual handling and behaviours of concern including restrictive practices.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Experience of working with clients requiring PEG feeding, manual handling & behaviours of concern supports.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check.
- Minimum 12 months of Australian healthcare industry current work experience.
- A current Police Check, Vaccinations (including COVID), Basic Life Skills or CPR & First Aid & have the right to work in Australia.
- Driving Licence and access to a reliable car.
- Cert III Individual Supports, Cert IV Disability and / or Mental Health Care Qualification, preferred.
- Integrity, honesty & reliability is critical for this role.

**NOTE**:All the roles available include some personal care and assistance as a standard part of the role.

**Salary**: From $37.18 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift

- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Disability Support Worker: 1 year (required)
- working with behaviours of concern: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (Employer) (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Manual Handling Certification (preferred)
- PEG Feeding Certification (preferred)
