Due to demand an exciting and key opportunity has arisen within the Corporate Affairs team, which will support the protection, enhancement and defense of AGL’s brand and reputation and it’s license to operate, in support of the overarching Corporate Affairs and AGL strategy.
About the Role
This role is responsible for the development, delivery and day to day execution of AGL’s external corporate reporting suite and annual corporate calendar of events.
Working with the Group Manager, Planning Reporting & Strategy, you will manage and execute AGL’s narrative through the delivery of major internal and external events and external reporting that best tells the AGL story.
You will work towards the achievement of AGL’s strategy by delivering best practice communications for key stakeholders including shareholders; the project management and delivery of the AGL integrated reporting suite of corporate documents, such as AGL’s Annual Report.
What you'll be doing:
Working closely with AGL’s internal designers and external design partners, you will manage the workflow from initial creative brief through to print and delivery.
Ensure adherence to brand guidelines across all corporate communications.
The outcome of this role will be a strategic and planned approach to all major enterprise-wide external communications and corporate events.
Project management of major company and CEO events:
You and the team will work collaboratively across the enterprise to provide best practice project management for all major company events including financial results, AGM, CEO related Town Halls and major employee events. Managing the relationship and interface with the Investor Relations, Corporate Affairs and Company Secretariat, you will work together with key stakeholders to maximise the effectiveness of AGL company events and achieve the best outcomes for AGL’s company profile and corporate brand.
Delivery of AGL integrated corporate reporting suite of documents:
Working collaboratively across the enterprise, you will project manage AGL’s corporate reports and publications including the AGL annual integrated reporting suite, including the Annual Report. You will be critical in supporting the delivery of all corporate reporting to external audiences including financial and non-financial reporting.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- At least 5 years’ experience in event development and management in a similar role within an ASX listed organisation.- Superior capability to develop virtual and live events as part of an integrated communications and stakeholder strategy.- Strong written and verbal communication with a proven ability to positively engage with stakeholders and suppliers.- Outstanding project management and delivery skills with an ability to manage and communicate complex issues to multiple stakeholders in a matrix working environment.- Strong attention to detail with an ability to adhere to strict deadlines.- Proven experience in delivering financial and investor related company events.- Clear understanding of the annual reporting process, critical timings and requirements of ASX listed organisations.- Outstanding attention to detail and the need for consistency of communication.- Understanding of best practice trends in events as part of a communications strategy.- Tech savy, knowledge of reporting platforms such as Tangelo beneficial.
