About SafeWork NSW – Strategy, Planning, Programs & Evaluation
The Strategy, Planning, Programs & Evaluation team sits within the Policy, Practice and Programs Directorate under SafeWork NSW's Strategic & Corporate Services Division.
The Strategy, Planning, Programs and Evaluation team plays a key role in enabling SafeWork to be an independent, transparent, accountable and responsive work health and safety regulator. It supports SafeWork NSW to set overarching organisational strategy and plans, including through an Annual Regulatory Statement. This team also provides a project management office function and guides and enables strategic program design, monitoring and evaluation; as well as corporate, statutory and program reporting.
The primary purpose of the Corporate Planning, Reporting and Assurance role is to lead and manage corporate planning, reporting and assurance function within the broader team on behalf of SafeWork NSW. This includes enabling and delivering Business Plans, Annual reports, biannual Statutory reports, regular progress and performance reports to decision makers, key stakeholders and the public. It also includes a range of reporting under our core function. This role has direct reports.
To be successful in the role you will have
You have advanced interpersonal and communication skills and have experience or are open to presenting and facilitating. You are experienced in sourcing and collating data and information, interpreting and writing reports that're clear, concise, engaging, provide actionable insights and demonstrate progress and performance against organisational priorities. You are committed to a positive customer experience, collaboration, innovation and building capability. You also have a positive and inclusive mindset, a "can do' attitude and sound project management skills.
