**Overview of the Team**
The People, Property and Security team is responsible for supporting the strategic direction of Comcare and enabling the organisation to respond effectively to current and future business needs, through strategic and effective frameworks, advice, and processes. The team is comprised of the following sections: Recruitment, HR Operations and Employee Relations, Work Health and Safety, HR Systems, Change Management, Workforce Strategy, People Development, and Security and Property.
**Overview of the Roles**
**APS4 Security and Property Officer**
As the Security and Property Officer you will support the management of the daily operations of security and property management, office, and security services functions throughout Comcare’s national property portfolio. Experience in a property or security environment is desirable but not mandatory. This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance, and will participate in afterhours roster and on-call arrangements.
**APS5 Assistant Property Manager**
The Assistant Property Manager undertakes the day-to-day operations of property management and office services functions throughout the Comcare’s property portfolio. Understanding of the Commonwealth Property Management Framework will be an advantage, however is not a mandatory requirement. This role will require the ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance, and some interstate travel is required, including overnight absences.
**Eligibility and Specific Conditions of Employment**
- Australian citizenship.
- Character clearance (police records check).
- Health clearance.
- Six months probationary period for new engagements.
