Major Financial Services firm seeking a Risk Consultant to operate in a key influencing and thought leadership role to build divisional risk maturity and increase leadership capability for risk-based decision making across various business areas.

You will lead and manage Risk resources in the execution of operational risk management requirements across a range of teams, including the Workplace, Security, HR and CTO, and oversee compliance with Group-wide and Divisional policies and procedures.

**The Role**
- Internally working with executive and senior technology management reporting directly to the Head of Technology Risk and Heads of Technology for Workplace and Security ensuring operational risk is appropriately addressed and consistently managed
- Oversight, execution and monitoring of risk management practices, operational issues and control breakdowns
- Review and presentation of reporting on a variety of risk information on a routine and exception basis
- Conduct training and risk mindset initiatives
- Regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss and review risk items for new business approvals and proposals

**Skills and Experience**
- Substantial experience in either a risk or similar operational management role
- Detailed knowledge of control processes and best practice in IT controls
- Excellent understanding of risk management frameworks and relevant certifications (CSIM/CRISC/CISA/CISSP/CCSP)
- Experience with infrastructure risk management especially networks, security and digital environments
- Ability to write and present clear and concise reports
- Leadership and management of staff experience in an operational capacity
- Agile knowledge highly regarded
