**About the role**

With a moderate influx of calls from their valued domestic and commercial customers, you will be at the forefront of the company answering calls from homes and business within the Canberra, ACT region.

You will also handle correspondence and enquiries, including account queries, escalations, the processing of orders, payments and new customer enquiries, with an aim to set up new accounts.

You will be required at times to make outbound calls to customers that may have neglected to pay their energy invoices, whether they be business customers or households.

You will deal with multiple stakeholders and teams, including delivery drivers, across the organisation in order to ensure a smooth delivery of the product, in a timely manner.

This role will see you sitting within a team of 5 people, servicing customers, whilst enjoying a small, quiet and relaxed office environment.

**Who is the best person for the role and what experience would be ideal to be a success in this role?**
- Recent experience working in a contact centre answering approx. 50-60 calls per day
- Superb written communication skills
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar
- Attention to detail is critical as you are dealing with dollars and delivery addresses
- High degree of empathy
- Strong ability to handle escalated calls with care, empathy and respect
- Someone who wants to work in an office 5 days per week
- A team player - work closely with the immediate team but also gathering information from other business areas
- Reliable and punctual
- And a good sense of humour would be very welcomed
