This full-time Gardener role at our Pascoe Vale retirement village offers an excellent opportunity to implement established horticultural practices and procedures. Reporting to the Gardening Services Coordinator, you'll be responsible for maintaining and presenting our gardens. This position involves travel to sites across Western Melbourne.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Minimum 1 - 2 yrs. experience in garden maintenance services
- Demonstrated experience in lawn care, perennials, shrubs, trees, pruning and hedging
- Management of soil health, weeds, pests and diseases
- Soft landscaping - garden bed preparation, plant set out and planting
- Safe use of hand and power tools
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, positive attitude
- Hard working, reliable, punctual
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills, including report writing
- Australia’s driver’s license

**Desirable**:
Commercial sector experience
