The City is seeking a Rates Support Officer to play a key role within the Revenue Services Team. The role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service to the City's ratepayers and contributing to the maintenance of the rates database to ensure accuracy and reliability. This position is also required to provide support to the Accounts Receivable Team when required.

Reporting to the Senior Rates Co-ordinator, this position will support the City by:

- Being the first point of contact for incoming rates phone calls.
- Processing changes of ownership and mailing addresses.
- Resolving rate enquiries and processing payments in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Processing all account enquiries and Advice of Sale (EAS2) notices from Landgate.

To be successful in this role you will be able to engage with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, and provide professional advice relating to rating for the effective and compliant operation of the City.
