Reporting to the Logistics Control Tower Manager, your key duties will include:
**KEY OBJECTIVES**:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the control tower
- Manage, lead, mentor, train and develop control tower staff to extend individual skills and achieve overall objectives
- Work with team on continuous improvement
- Analyse delivery failures, communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders Form collaborative groups to discuss how we improve
- Monitor the activities to ensure all service levels committed are met and exceeded
- Stay up to date on the latest industry trends, technology, and best practices
- Work closely with carriers to ensure timely delivery of orders and end-to-end tracking of orders.
- Escalate issues to responsible team heads inside and outside of company
- Two-way transparent open communication to enhance a no surprise culture between all stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all appropriate and applicable WH&S policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times with internal & external stakeholders.
- Demonstrates strong safety leadership by promoting a safety-first culture.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Previous experience of working in a business driven by innovation and service excellence.
- Outstanding people and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Previous experience in the transport/logistics industry in a sizeable company is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivator with great adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Practical working experience with MS Office package.
- Salesforce or any other CRM experience advantageous.
