**About Our Client**
Our client is a FMCG manufacturing company currently seeking to recruit 2 positions. 1 X Compounder and 1 X Pre-Weigher
**About the Role**
**Compounder**
Your will be working together to manufacture batches following a production plan. The responsibility extends to ensure that GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) is followed, and work is conducted within a safe and clean environment.
- To wear appropriate safety equipment (gloves, masks, goggles etc.) when handling hazardous raw materials, and ensure work is carried out in a safe environment at all times.
- Maintain a clean manufacturing area. That is, to clean entire area following a routine, or during available time during batch manufacture.
- Clean & sanitise manufacturing vessels, bulk containers and associated equipment before use as required.
- Clear manufacturing area of previous batches before starting a new job. Ensure that all pre weighing buckets are washed and cleaned
- Mix and blend batches following details from work instructions.
- Check each raw material container (for weight and correct item), initialling against each raw material when adding to manufacturing vessel.
- Provide sample of batch bulk to laboratory for testing and advise laboratory staff. Adjust batch as advised by laboratory staff.
- Pump “approved” batches into suitable containers.
- Perform other duties as requested by management, according to skills and capabilities related to the above duties.
- Assist in buddy training of other employees as required
**Pre-Weigher**
- Forklift experience and license
- To wear appropriate safety equipment (gloves, masks, goggles etc.) when handling hazardous raw materials, and ensure work is carried out in a safe environment at all times.
- Any spills to be reported for appropriate clean up and loss recorded on worksheet and reported to logistic department.
- Ensure pre-weigh area is clean and all previous raw materials removed before starting a new worksheet. Ensure only clean receptacles and equipment is used for dispensing.
- Before weighing raw materials that a quick check is done to determine is sufficient raw material exists to dispense the entire batch. Logistic department must be informed immediately should there be a shortage of raw material to dispense.
- Retrieve materials from warehouse, ensuring oldest stock and part containers are used first and dispense raw material according to the production order. Return raw materials to warehouse in the correct location.
- Record lot numbers & initial the production order that raw material has been dispensed.
- Assisting warehouse staff with receiving and dispatch of goods.
- Perform other duties as requested by management, related to the above duties.
