About the Role
If you have ever visited our authentic Italian inspired restaurant, La Piazza, you would have experienced the vibrant and lively atmosphere, making you feel like you have teleported to the streets of Italy.
We now have opportunities available for bartenders, a la carte waitstaff and general waitstaff to join the team.
If you have experience as a bartender or waiter, or perhaps have a passion to learn and grow in a front of house hospitality role, we want to hear from you.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Demonstrating our Culture Values - Strong Team Player, Willingness to Surprise and Delight our guests and a 'Can-Do' Attitude.
- Greeting all customers and projecting a positive, motivated and friendly image to guests and staff
- Assisting with all customer enquiries, or requests regarding products and services
- Providing efficient and accurate service of food & beverage items to customers in bar areas and/or functions
- Restaurant duties; including table preparation, food & beverage service and cleaning duties
- Suggestive selling of menu items
- Bar service, where required
- Building and maintaining positive customer relationships, across a broad range of diverse cultures
- Cash handling

**Essential Criteria for La Piazza staff**:

- Knowledge of responsible service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to create and maintain relationships
- Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
- Flexibility to work when required: weekday’s and weekend’s
- Must have RSA and RCG qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Rights to work in Australia

**Desirable criteria for waitstaff applicants**:

- Experience working in an al a carte restaurant environment
- Ability to carry 3 plates

**Desirable Criteria for Bartender applicants**:

- Experience in preparing and serving beverages
- Cocktail making experience desirable

**Essential qualities & behaviour**:

- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- Multi-tasking abilities
- Exceptional conflict resolution techniques
- Previous or current experience in restaurant service
- Immaculate personal presentation
- A dependable and enthusiastic attitude
