Start date: Mid April (Just after Easter) ideally
- Permanent: 12+ months permanent/long term
- Pay: $35-40 per hour depending on experience Note: Full Drivers Licence

A professional family in Enmore are seeking a active, kind and supportive nanny to care for their 2 boys (7 and 4yrs of age).

**The day and normal hours are: 4 days -Up to 16 hours per week**

**Monday to Thursday 3 or 4pm - 7pm**

**Same hours required in the school holidays with the opportunity for some full days.**

**Please Note: Additional days/hours /evenings requested from time to time - notice would be given.**

An ideal nanny would be active, kind, calm, engaging and supportive.

You will be a good communicator, responsible,safe, reliable and punctual and can commit to the role on a long term basis, building a lovely relationship with the whole family.

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- To care for the children
- Follow routines
- Pick up the children from daycare/school (2blocks to the daycare and 700m to the school from the house)
- Engage with the children
- Homework assistance - reading for the older son
- Take the child to after school activities swimming, music lessons
- Cook for the children (Light meals - mostly assembling)
- Assist with some light household duties and encourage the children to help. Unstacking/stacking dishwasher, cleaning up toys and keeping main surfaces of the home clean and tidy.
- Family laundry - Put a load on or into the dryer
- Run errands and light grocery shop (occasionally)
- Walk the family dog (Beagle)(No requirements to do this though only if you want to)

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- 2+ years experience as a nanny or working with children
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- Basic cooking skills
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Non smoking
- Full drivers Licence and clean driving record
