**Key Duties**

**Inspect delivery/receival vehicles to ensure Quarantine compliance**
- Differentiate differing requirements for red tagged and non-red tagged receivables
- Inspect vehicles to ensure quarantine compliance
- Inspect and remove red tag from vehicle doors
- Verify contents of vehicle comply with delivery paperwork received, including quarantine checklist and traffic management plan

**Inspect cargo being delivered to the FCC**
- Inspect all cargo received from suppliers which has been red tagged, to identify any quarantine risk
- Select higher risk product to undergo further inspection
- Undertake detailed inspection on higher risk cargo and randomly selected cargo

**Inspect cargo pallets in accordance with QMP**
- Inspect all cargo pallets upon which cargo is loaded to ensure quarantine compliance
- Ensure good food safe practices are always observed
- Ensure chiller or frozen cargo is placed in respective cool/cold stores promptly
- Maintain validity of quarantine stickers on stored cargo

**Work with colleagues and customers**
- Communicate effectively in the workplace
- Maintain personal presentation standards
- Provide great service to colleagues and customers
- Work effectively in a team
- Provide direction and guidance to other employees
- Assist in the provision of on-the-job training and induction

**The Person**
- Follow Compass health, safety, and security procedures
- Follow safe manual handling practices
- Comply with infection control policies and procedures in a Healthcare environment
- Team player and able to work autonomously
- Can do and proactive attitudes, understanding we operate a food lifeline to a remote location
- Ability to work in cold (chiller) environment for a prolonged time
- Physically fit in performing physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving whole body, such as lifting (including occasional heavy lifting), bending, squatting, balancing, walking, standing, stooping, and handling of materials
- Flexible approach and attitude
- Hard working and reliable
- Strong administrative and communication skills
- National Police clearance
- Vaccination history
- Great communication skills
