**Overview of role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responding to enquiries by customers and the Development community and provide advice regarding specific Development issues
- Building and maintaining relationships with the Development community and other stakeholders
- Prepare responses to planning referrals ensuring statutory timeframes are met
- Preparing written responses to consultants and surveyors including specific requirements to be addressed by them in their formal design prior to submission
- Make sound decisions within policy guidelines, professional standards, and procedures, while also seeking opportunities to improve work practices.
- Interpret technical drawings, standards, and regulations, including the Water Services Association of Australia sewer and water codes, and AS3500 Plumbing Regulations.
- Reviewing final designs to ensure full compliance with our requirements.

**To be considered for the role you’ll have**:
Considerable experience in the water and wastewater industry supported by relevant qualifications such as a diploma, advanced diploma or tertiary degree, or trade qualifications in plumbing with 7+ years of experience, particularly in interpreting legislation, policy, and procedures for infrastructure provision.
Strong understanding of the Water Act and relevant Water Services Association of Australia codes.
Ability to influence and convince others with tact and diplomacy, particularly in sensitive situations.
