**Your new role**

As a House Coordinator in Residential Care at AV, no two days are the same but the overall objective remains consistent; ensuring that the Young People within our care get the best possible support in a safe, nurturing home environment.

To do this House Coordinators provide direct support to Young People, but also support and leadership to the staffing group within the house.

**Day-to-day duties**:

- Provide leadership, support, and supervision to a team of Residential Youth Workers and ensuring that appropriate therapeutic interventions and responses are employed in their practice by feeding back on staff practice through fortnightly supervision.
- Working to create a safe, secure, and inviting environment for our young people where the developmental needs of children and young people are effectively met.
- Commitment to providing quality care to young people in Out of Home Care through, but not limited to, coordinating therapeutic Care Team meetings, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating fortnightly rosters, as well as audit compliance.

- A salary at SCHADS award Level 6 which starts at $102,554.40 plus super
- Salary packaging is available up to $15,900, plus an entertainment card.
