
Retirement Living Regional Manager

As the Regional Manager for our Retirement Living North team, you'll be responsible for the overall direction, service and business outcomes of this geographical portfolio.
This full time position will oversee RSL LifeCare’s Retirment Living Village portfolio across Northern NSW region.
This position plays a key role within the senior management team responsible for the overall direction, service delivery and business outcomes of the RSL LifeCare Retirement Living portfolio.
You will work across all aspects of operational planning and governance, working closely with the General Manager - Retirement Living, to ensure high levels of performance across people management, resident and community relations, risk management and quality.
The Role- Oversee the development of Village budgets, develop and contribute to Opex and Capex budgets for the region.- Develop and manage high performing teams through leadership, role-modelling, objective setting with a clear participative communication process- Inspire and Grow talent ensuring clarity through clear goals, expectations, and accountabilities- Drive a customer service culture where our customers are central to everything that we do- Working in conjunction with the property team to ensure that assets are well maintained- Monitor and measure operational financial and operating performance- Oversee and ensure that Village ‘unit pricing’ across your region is aligned to the market- Adhere to the Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures of RSL LifeCare- Regular Local, intrastate, and interstate travel will be required, this is a key part of the succession in this position
Ideal Requirements- Significant and demonstrable senior management experience in a Retirment Living, Aged Care or a Health care setting- Sound experience in financial management and performance- Extensive knowledge and experience in the management of and compliance with legislative requirements- Highly developed leadership and influence skills- Proven ability to foster high quality relationships with Village Manager and their teams, working in partnership with service delivery teams to achieve organisational objectives- Well-developed people management skills including the ability to lead and resolve performance management issues in a timely manner- Proven experience in coaching and mentoring managers and key personnel- Full Australian working rights; National Police Clearance Check- Current Australian Drivers Licence

The position encompasses both strategic and operational elements and ensures all villages within the region provide the highest quality services.
This position assumes primary responsibility for achieving and maintaining legislative compliance including, but not limited to, compliance with the Retirement Villages Act 1999 and the Retirement Villages Regulations 2017.
